Belgrade, September 6 – 10, 2021 –  Representatives from 9 partner organizations from WB6 countries gathered to launch the new phase of Young Men Initiative (YMI) program and discuss a new strategy for achievement of joint vision: to enable positive and peaceful environment for young people in the Balkans.

As in previous years, Smart Kolektiv will continue to develop campaigns and creative activities that are supporting key messages and activities in the program. Using social marketing tools and participative methodologies such as Desigh Thinking, Smart kolektiv’s goal is to make topics such as prevention of violence, promotion of gender equality, healthy lifestyles more appealing to young people all around Balkans, using refreshed visual design that is customized to the needs of younger generations.

Projects will be implemented by CARE International in close cooperation with the local partners: YMCA, Pristina, Kosovo; SIT – Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research, Pristina, Kosovo; Act for Society Centre, Tirana, Albania; Institute Perpetuum Mobile, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Institute for Population and Development (IPD), Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Youth Power, Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Status M, Zagreb, Croatia; Center E8, Belgrade, Serbia; Smart Kolektiv, Belgrade, Serbia. Projects are implemented with the support of long-term donors: Austrian Development Agency, Swiss Development Agency and Oak Foundation.
