Position Title: Project Coordinator  

Job Description: 

  • Responsible for detailed planning and implementation of the project, including project activities, in accordance with the project proposal and budget. 
  • Manages the project budget, planning and executing expenses in compliance with donor and Smart Kolektiv procedures. 
  • Handles all project-related procurement in accordance with donor and Smart Kolektiv procedures. 
  • Manages the administration and maintains proper project documentation in accordance with donor and Smart Kolektiv procedures. 
  • Prepares narrative project reports in Serbian or English, following donor and Smart Kolektiv forms and requirements. 
  • Responsible for clear and timely communication with the team, donors, partners, collaborators, suppliers, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders regarding the project being conducted. 
  • Organizes and carries out workshops, training, conferences, meetings, and other project-related events. 
  • Timely writes and provides information about project activities to the PR expert. 
  • Initiates and, as agreed, conducts internal and external meetings related to the project. 
  • Visits beneficiaries and partners in the field, participates in relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences at the national, regional, and international levels. 

 

What We’re Looking for in Candidates: 

  • Minimum of five years of work experience. 
  • A minimum of two years of work experience in the position of project coordinator in the non-profit sector. 
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English. 
  • Experience in event organization and strong organizational skills. 
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), social media, and the Internet. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management and precision in work. 
  • Complete independence in work. 
  • Willingness to travel (day trips and multi-day trips) within the country, the region, and abroad. 
  • Interest in environmental protection, climate change, green economy, sustainable development, and related topics. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

 

Working Conditions: 

It is planned for the project coordinator to join our team by the end of 2023. With the successful candidate, a fixed-term employment contract will be established, with the possibility of contract extension.
