Online event, May 26, 2021 – Ivana Stančić, Program manager at Smart Kolektiv, participated on May 26 in the online panel at the European Summit of Social Economy (EUSES), organized by the European Commission and the City of Mannheim (Germany).
The panel “Social Entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans: Ways to Open the Fast Track to Sustainable Development” was dedicated to discussing new forms of support and development of social enterprises in the region. The focus of the interactive discussion was on identifying the potential and needs of stakeholders in the social entrepreneurship sector, ways in which stakeholders from the Western Balkans can collaborate, and on opportunities to work with EU partners to overcome identified gaps.
The conference brought together public and private actors, policy makers, civil society and academia. It was a great opportunity to discuss how the social economy can help through the promotion of inclusive sustainable economic models for green and digital transition to reshape post-COVID economies.
