Belgrade, January 21, 2020 – Smart Kolektiv launched its new program – Program for Sustainable Businesses, aimed at the supporting mature social enterprises to grow their business and impact and prepare for impact investment.
During the 5 months program, participants, together with the team of experienced business mentors, entrepreneurs and investors, will work on a business and impact growth strategies and preparation for the impact investment. Enterprises with the greatest potential for scaling their business and impact will have the opportunity to apply for an innovative financial instrument – convertible grant in the amount of up to 50,000.00 EUR.
Program for Sustainable Businesses is part of the Smart Impact Fund – Fund for Impact Economy, which will invest around half a million EUR over the next 5 years in initiatives and businesses that contribute to sustainable and positive change in their communities.
The program is implemented with the support of EFSE Entrepreneurship Academy and EVPA – European Association for Entrepreneurial Philanthropy.
Fund for the Development of Sustainable Economy has been launched by the Smart Kolektiv with the support of the Framework for Giving Project, funded by United States Agency for International Development USAID and implemented by the Coalition for Giving, led by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. Members of the Coalition are Trag Foundation, Catalyst Foundation, Smart Kolektiv, Serbian Philanthropic Forum, Responsible Business Forum and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
