Bright participants of the RISE program spend time with our expert team and work on the development of their business ideas! 💡 Through the use of the business model canvas tool, eight teams have seriously stepped towards realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. They have also researched and specified the problems they solve in the community to define the social mission of their enterprises.
Acquiring Knowledge and Tools
Through a combination of inspiring lectures, interactive workshops, and personal consultations, program participants have gained valuable knowledge and useful tools for achieving their ideas. This program provides the necessary resources and support for entrepreneurs to achieve their business ambitions.
Risers have dedicated time to researching and specifying the problems they solve in the community. Through this process, they have defined the social mission of their enterprises, laying the foundation for sustainable and positive change in society.
Experiences of Successful Entrepreneurs
The program has also provided participants with the opportunity to hear the experiences and lessons learned from successful social entrepreneurs. Anica Spasov from the Naša Kuća Association, Katarina Ejdus from Women on the Way, and Nataša Niškanović from the Nitna Association shared their stories, motivating Risers to continue towards achieving their goals.
This is the fourth time that the Regional Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs is conducting a free support program for the development of social entrepreneurship ideas. The program simultaneously takes place in six Western Balkan countries with the goal of enabling motivated and dedicated young people to develop their ideas and make the region a better place. During the four-month “ideation phase,” six to eight teams in six countries will build their ideas from scratch to a business model. On this journey, they will receive support from experts and mentors, guiding them through all the crucial steps in launching a social enterprise. Afterward, the two best teams from Serbia, and a total of 12 teams from the region, will receive additional financial and practical support to carry out their idea and enhance the development of their business during the “incubation phase.”
Smart Kolektiv, the organization conducting the RISE program in Serbia, expresses gratitude to all those who took the time to consider how they can contribute to their community. All the ideas received are smart, innovative, and valuable, and despite the inability to include everyone who applied in the program, we encourage them to continue with their charitable intentions.
