Neven Marinović, the Director of Smart Kolektiv and the president of Euclid Network, took on the role of co-host for opening sessions during this year’s Euclid Network Impact Summit 2024, held in the Hague from March 20th to 21st. 

Themed “Building Bridges – From Intention to Action,” the summit served as a convergence point for representatives from non-profit and social enterprise alliances, networks, support organizations, foundations, impact investors, corporate innovators, academics, researchers, and policymakers. Alongside Wieteke Dupain, the Director of EUCLID Network, who hosted the keynote session and opening panel, Neven Marinović was one of the co-hosts of both segments. 

Opening Session and Keynotes provided a panoramic view of the global, European, and local landscapes of the social economy, social entrepreneurship, and finance. From groundbreaking initiatives to transformative policies, this session fostered understanding and shaped the future of societal and environmental impact. 

The Opening Panel echoed the summit’s theme of “Building Bridges – from Intention to Action” and offered participants insights from the leadership of pivotal communities and movements uniting social entrepreneurs, corporates, foundations, and investors. This panel, featuring esteemed international speakers representing umbrella organizations, movements, global and EU-level networks, as well as mainstream and traditional economic sectors, showcased their efforts in bridging the gap between intention and action. It explored the potency, opportunities, and challenges of collaboration, participatory networks, partnerships, and movements in driving actionable change. Each panelist elucidated their organization’s role within the ecosystem to drive the positive systemic change outlined in EU, UN and national social economy and social entrepreneurship strategies and action plans towards a more socially inclusive and sustainable economy. 

The Euclid Network Impact Summit delved into many crucial topics including sustainability, social procurement, inclusion, and policy development. It provided invaluable insights into emerging market trends, consumer preferences, and collaborative opportunities.
