Novi Sad and Niš, January 24/28 – In the previous period Smart Kolektiv and Responsible Business Forum have organized two Meetups for SMEs in Novi Sad and Niš. Held in the premises of Chamber of Commerce and Deli Space, each event gathered 20 representatives of SMEs from North and South of Serbia.
The focus of the events was to discuss how small businesses can contribute to SDGs and Agenda 2030. The events were focused on presenting business case and practical solutions for business to integrate SDGs in their core activities, set goals and communicate transparently their results. The discussion has brought up the topic on how the SDGs represents a business opportunity for every company and how investing in meeting the SDGs can unlock new opportunities and secure a company’s long-term prosperity. As part of the Meetups, Smart Kolektiv has presented to participants Smart Impact Fund and programs that will be available to social enterprises in next 5 years.
The events have been organized by the Smart Kolektiv and the Responsible Business Forum with the support of the Framework for Giving Project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Coalition for Giving, led by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. Members of the Coalition are Trag Foundation, Catalyst Foundation, Smart Kolektiv, Serbian Philanthropic Forum, Responsible Business Forum and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
