Porto, May 7, 2021 – Neven Marinović, Director of Smart Kolektiv and President of Euclid Network, participated in the Porto Social Summit 2021 on May 7th.
The conference of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union was a great opportunity to present the European social entrepreneurship sector, as well as the vision of the Euclid Network. Neven had the opportunity, on behalf of social enterprises and organizations that support them, to point out the need for further development of the social entrepreneurship sector. He did so in front of EU leaders, European institutions, social partners and representatives of civil society.
The event was aimed at strengthening the resilience of the European Union and at strengthening citizens’ trust in the European social model. Furthermore, the event promoted a European Union based on solidarity, rapprochement and cohesion and underlined that the European Union is up to the task of managing the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.
