Belgrade, April 3, 2020 – Responsible Business Forum member companies donated over 216 million RSD so far to support the fight against the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, and also have provided support in other ways, such as providing free services to citizens affected by the pandemic, as well as medical and healthcare professionals.
Monetary donations to state bodies, primarily to the Republican Health Insurance Fund, were sent by the companies Elixir group, Telekom Srbija, Banca Intesa, UniCredit Bank and United group. The coordinated action to procure medical equipment and packages for the most vulnerable families initiated by UNICEF was supported by Eurobank, Vojvodjanska banka, Telenor, Lidl Serbia and Nordeus. Nordeus also supported the procurement of medical equipment through the B92 Fund, and coordinated effort to support the World Health Organization in promoting responsible behavior rules during pandemic through its application globally used by over 200 million people. Crowne plaza, part of the Delta holding group, provided 150 meals a day to healthcare staff at clinics receiving patients diagnosed with COVID-19.
