Director of Smart Kolektiv Neven Marinović participated in the conference “Development of digital social innovations and model of social entrepreneurship excellence” which was held on May 18 in Science and Technology Park Novi Sad (NTP).
The conference, which was organized by the Council for Coordination and Monitoring of Activities in the Area of Economic Development on the territory of AP Vojvodina, in cooperation with the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, aimed to encourage the further development of social entrepreneurship in Vojvodina.
The conference was opened by the Vice President of the Provincial Government, Branko Ćurčić, and the participants were also greeted by the director of the NTP, Nebojša Drakulić, and the Head of the Cooperation of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, Nicola Bertolini.
The conference was attended by many prominent representatives of the economy and competent institutions in the field of social entrepreneurship, provincial institutions, the European Commission, banks, international organisations and scientific research institutes.
In the first panel, which was dedicated to models of social entrepreneurship excellence, in addition to the director of the Smart Kolektiv Neven Marinović, the panelists were Violeta Jovanović, Naled, Jelena Milovanović, GIZ, Siniša Tešić, Social Entrepreneurship Cluster of Vojvodina and Miodrag Shestha, Coalition for the Development of Solidarity Economy.
The second panel dedicated to the development of digital social innovations and socially responsible business models hosted Vladimir Crnojević, Biosens Institute, prof. Dr Aleksandar Rikalović, Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Tijana Koprivica, Delta Holding and Ivan Radojević, Erste Bank.
The common goal in this area is to enable the creation of a favourable environment for business entities that operate according to the principles of social entrepreneurship and to provide systemic support to all recognized initiatives and enable their development – it’s one of the conclusions of the conference.
