As part of the “Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities” project, the Youth with Disabilities Forum (FMI) has conducted a series of trainings for employees in large companies, emphasizing the importance of inclusive work environments for the company, employees, and the entire community.

During February and March of this year, FMI organized training on the employment of persons with disabilities for employees at Unicredit Bank, Belgrade Airport, Mercator, Banka Intesa, and Erste Bank. All participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with inclusive procedures and examples of good practices in the field of employing persons with disabilities. The workshops included educating employees about the institutional framework and rights of persons with disabilities, and proper terminology.

These workshops aimed to highlight the importance of the role of companies in building a more inclusive society where all individuals have equal opportunities.

The workshops were conducted as part of the “Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities” project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Youth with Disabilities Forum. Other project partners are the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, Caritas of Serbia, Smart Kolektiv and the Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities.
