Belgrade, October 20, 2021 – We had a pleasure to meet all of the seven young teams selected to participate in the second cycle of RISE program. RISE is a regional support program aiming to empower those young people from Western Balkans who want to bring positive changes into their communities by establishing social enterprises.
During onboarding MeetUp, Smart Kolektiv team had a chance to meet in person representatives of all 7 selected teams. Young participants also find out more about RISE program, its goals, planned activities in the next couple of months, different types of support they will receive through Ideation phase etc. RISErs were particularly impressed with From zero to Hero section of the MeetUp. Katarina Ejdus, one of the founder of the social enterprise Women on the Way and RISE national winner from I cycle, shared her entrepreneurial and RISE experience with the rest of the group. She pointed out that mentorship support and 1on1 consultations that she and her team received during the program were essential for building up their idea from scratch and entering the market in October 2021 with first products.
We can’t wait to dive into this new RISE journey alongside with young, motivated and impact driven teams. To find out more about their ideas for better society, click here.
