Belgrade, December 8 – New Governing Board members of the UN Global Compact Network Serbia were elected at the General Assembly. By anonymous voting of members, Milica Mišković, Program Manager at Smart Kolektiv was elected as a new Governing Board Member coming from the civil sector.

Four representatives of the business sector in the Governing Board are: Tijana Koprivica (Delta Holding), Sonja Jović (Heineken), Dušan Stojaković (Hemofarm) and Branislav Jovanović (Banca Intesa), the representative of the business association is Siniša Mitrović (Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), while another representative from civil sector is Biljana Dakić Đorđević (Trag Foundation).

High Representative of the United Nations in Serbia, Françoise Jacob accepted the network’s invitation and joined the Governing Board as an ex-officio member, and her role will be to align the network’s work with UN priorities. In the following period, a joint meeting of new and old members of the Governing Board will be organized. The mandate of the new members of the Management Board starts from January 2021 and lasts until the end of 2024.
