Virtual event, September 30, 2020 – SIF 2020 featured the fourth Round table on Green Economy and Green Entrepreneurship organized within the GEAR Project. Virtual event gathered representatives of various sectors who presented their innovative projects and solutions in the field of green economy. Having in mind that the application of sustainable energy sources and reducing the negative impacts of fossil fuels is one of the global priorities, recognized by the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030, this virtual round table had special focus on sustainable energy. Are we ready for the change, how much the business and civil sector can contribute to the achievement of this goal, what concrete results have been achieved so far in this area in our country – about these and similar topics speakers shared their insights. Speakers on this panel were: Milica Mišković and Teodora Pazarski from Responsible Business Forum, Igor Radoš from Elixir Group, Dragan Roganović from Rural Development Network of Serbia (NAGE project) and Vladimir Janković from the organization UNEKOOP. The conversation was moderated by Neda Stanković, program coordinator at Smart Kolektiv.

Round table was organized within the regional project “GEAR – Green Economy for Regional Development”, funded by the European Union under the Civil Society and Media Support Program 2016-2017. Project is implemented by FORS Montenegro in partnership with Smart Kolektiv from Serbia, Center for Development and Support from Bosnia and Hercegovina, EKO Svest from Northern Macedonia, EDEN Center from Albania and the Association Slap from Croatia.
