The Regional Conference “Future for Youth”, which marks marks the end of a three-year project implemented by CARE International in collaboration with Smart Kolektiv and other regional partners, was held on Wednesday, January 24 in Sarajevo.

The “Future for Youth” conference brought together experts, organizations, and institutions dedicated to the prevention of violence among young people, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the advancement of gender equality, providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on these crucial topics.

This event marked the completion of a three-year project implemented by CARE International, within the framework of the regional network Young Men Initiative, launched 16 years ago. Since 2008, Smart Kolektiv has been engaged in the Young Men Initiative program as an expert in social marketing, actively participating in the design and development of social campaigns and creative materials for youth, including the Future4Youth movement. Over the past three years of the project, Smart Kolektiv supported the implementation of activities through the development of the Future4Youth campaign and the online educational platform of the ProgramY.

Project Future for Youth was realized within the framework of the Young Men Initiative III (YMI – Young Men Initiative): “Promoting healthier lifestyles and reducing interpersonal violence among young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina by challenging gender stereotypes III” and “Future for youth: Young people as leaders of education of life skills in the Balkans” supported by the Government of Switzerland, the Austrian Development Agency and CARE International Bosnia and Herzegovina.
