As part of the Public Finance Reform – Financing Agenda 2030: SDGs for ALL Platform – support to business engagement project, a networking event was held in Čačak on October 8th, bringing together businesses from the Zlatibor, Pirot, Bor, Zaječar, West Bačka, and South Bačka districts, providing them with the opportunity to learn about the project and the platform’s activities.
The event was dynamically structured, with a special focus on the latest trends and projects in the field of sustainable business. In the first part, experts Svetlana Damnjanović and Milica Mišković delivered inspiring presentations, highlighting new regulations, standards, and opportunities brought by the implementation of sustainable development goals.
Neven Marinović presented the work of the SDG platform, emphasizing activities that are of crucial importance for the event participants. Additionally, guests from UniCredit Bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB) shared information about their credit lines aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, with a special focus on the credit line that promotes greater workplace inclusion. This line allows companies not only to access loans but also to receive part of the funds in the form of grants based on progress in the field of inclusive employment.
This event was an exceptional opportunity for networking, exchanging ideas, and collaboratively creating a more sustainable future.
The event was organized within the framework of the “Sustainable Development for All” platform supported by the Governments of Switzerland and Germany, and is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as part of the Public Finance Reform Project – Agenda 2030.
