The largest annual event of the Responsible Business Forum will be held for the 13th  time on December 9, at the Metropol Palace Hotel under the name and slogan “CSR & ESG FORUM – Compliance, Performance, Leadership”.

At this year’s conference, the special focus will be on ESG criteria, and how doing business in accordance with the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria becomes a reality for companies in Serbia, but also a prerequisite for access to capital markets. Representatives of domestic and international financial institutions and companies will discuss the risks, challenges and opportunities for sustainable growth and development of the economy, as well as the harmonization of business with the increasingly demanding legal framework that is important for the access to the European Union market.

A significant part of the conference will be dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their integration into business. During the event, successful business projects that contribute to the fulfilment of the 2030 Agenda will be presented and the companies that have incorporated the Sustainable Development Goals into their operations and sustainability strategies, will be awarded with the “Champions of Sustainability” award.

The event will also be an opportunity to develop multisectoral dialogue and gather experts in the field of sustainability, as well as an opportunity to gather CSR professionals who have been highlighted by the business community this year as important individuals and leaders on the path to sustainability. Also, on this occasion, recognition will be given to companies that, through their activities, have significantly contributed to the reduction of food waste this year, as well as to the reduction of poverty and hunger.

The conference is organized as an invite-only event with a limited number of seats. A certain number of accreditations will be distributed through the social networks of the Responsible Business Forum.

The CSR&ESG FORUM is organized by Responsible Business Forum and Smart Kolektiv, in cooperation with the International Financial Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, within the integrated ESG program supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO.
