Smart Kolektiv and the Responsible Business Forum organized the “Sustainability Talks: Shaping the Future of Impact & Responsibility” meeting on November 7 at the premises of NLB Komercijalna Banka. The meeting brought together members of the Responsible Business Forum (RBF), as well as partners from Impact Europe, the Sidro Foundation, and the School for All Foundation.
The meeting was opened by Branka Letica, Member of the RBF Board and Neven Marinović, Executive Director of the RBF, who welcomed the participants, followed by an overview of the activities implemented during 2025. Among them were the Sustainability Academy, Women Leaders in Sustainability, the Social Innovation Forum, Transformator, and Sustainability Starter, as well as plans for the upcoming year. The CSR&ESG Forum 2025, scheduled for 4 December, was also announced.
The Sustainability Talks meeting was held as part of the new four-year project “Invest for Change”, implemented by Impact Europe in partnership with Smart Kolektiv and partners from the Western Balkans, with the support of the European Union. During the meeting, project activities aimed at developing impact investing and strengthening social enterprises were presented. These goals will be achieved through grants, non-financial support, and advocacy for an improved legal framework and its full implementation. All member companies of the Responsible Business Forum were invited to engage in supporting social enterprises and to contribute to the planned activities through synergy and their own programmes. The formation of an impact investing community, which will be open to companies, foundations, individuals, and other investors, was also announced.
A special part of the meeting was dedicated to presenting the findings of research on corporate sector support for social enterprises, as well as the new edition of the Corporate Holiday Gift Catalogue featuring social enterprises and impact-driven businesses (available for download here).
Representatives of the School for All Foundation from Niš presented their work and programmes supporting the education of children with developmental disabilities, supported by our member UniCredit Bank.
We would like to thank NLB Komercijalna Banka for their hospitality, as well as our partners from UniCredit Bank, the Elixir Foundation, the Sidro Foundation, and Impact Europe for the valuable exchange of experiences and insights from CEE4Impact Day, a conference on impact investing in Central and Eastern Europe, held in Budapest in early October, and attended by Smart Kolektiv and representatives of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia.
