June 12 – Thirty social enterprises from Serbia responded to the call and completed the questionnaire for the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) 2026, Europe’s largest survey of social enterprises.
We would like to thank all the social enterprises that took part in the 2026 edition of the European Social Enterprise Monitor. Thanks to your participation, more than 30 social enterprises from Serbia completed the survey, making it possible to produce not only European-level findings but also country-specific insights for Serbia.
The European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) is Europe’s largest survey of social enterprises, conducted by Euclid Network across 42 countries. The study aims to highlight the contribution social enterprises make to European society and the economy. It provides policymakers, financial institutions, researchers, and business support organisations with valuable insights into the real experiences of social enterprises, helping them develop more effective policies, remove barriers, and build stronger support ecosystems.
The lack of reliable data remains one of the key challenges to designing better policies and more tailored support for social enterprises. This is why broad participation in the survey is essential.
Smart Kolektiv is a proud member of the Euclid Network, through which it collaborates with national networks and social enterprises across Europe. At Smart Kolektiv’s initiative, partners involved in the Invest for Change project also joined this year’s ESEM survey. The Invest for Change project is implemented by Impact Europe with the support of the European Union, in partnership with Smart Kolektiv and partners from across the Western Balkans. Thanks to these joint efforts and the participation of social enterprises throughout the region, the voice of social enterprises from the Western Balkans will be better represented in this edition of the survey than ever before.
The results of the survey will be presented by Euclid Network during November and December 2026, after which the findings will also be shared in Serbia.
