The third regional Supply Chain Forum, organized by the Serbian Supply Chain Professionals‘ Association, was held on March 27 in Belgrade. More than 250 participants from regional and international companies had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and learn about trends in the supply chain through interactive panels, discussions, as well as the exchange of experience and examples of good practice. 

One of the participants in the panel “ESG and supply chain: from story to action” was Neven Marinović, director of Smart Kolektiv. He brought closer to the participants the regulation related to ESG goals, including the way in which the EU regulation is transferred to Serbian market. In addition to Neven Marinović, the panel also included Jasmina Pešović, Bambi and Maja Jerkić Bogosavljević, UniCredit Bank. The panelists addressed the challenges in defining and implementing an ESG strategy, how ESG goals in the supply chain can be achieved, and their importance.

Focusing on building and maintaining successful relationships with customers, the program of this year’s forum brought together numerous experts from Serbia and the region. Current topics, top lecturers and a high level of interaction with the participants contributed to jointly point out the key opportunities for improving the efficiency of all operations in the supply chain.
