Through employee volunteering, companies donate the knowledge, skills and time of their employees in order to contribute to the development of the local or wider community, or specific groups and individuals constituting those communities. In addition to improving the community, volunteering helps employees develop better relationships with colleagues and become more motivated and efficient in their work, and it directly contributes to solving certain issues in their environment. Smart Kolektiv actively promotes this type of company engagement by organizing the “Our Belgrade” campaign and presenting the Annual Corporate Volunteering Award to companies that helped the community in the most prominent way.
