Civil society organizations across Serbia can now apply for a public call for the establishment of regional resource centers for social entrepreneurship, which is open until July 22.

Through this call, six organizations will be supported to develop resource centers within their local communities, providing assistance to social enterprises and organizations interested in developing social entrepreneurship models. The call is launched by Smart Kolektiv, a pioneer in the development of social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility in Serbia.

The resource centers will serve as local hubs for support and collaboration, offering training, mentoring, information, and networking opportunities with companies, institutions, and other local partners. Their goal is to help organizations develop sustainable business models that contribute to addressing social challenges and fostering local community development.

In addition to training and mentoring activities, the resource centers will work to strengthen cooperation among the civil, public, and private sectors, as well as to improve local policies related to social entrepreneurship.

The total budget of the call amounts to EUR 165,000. In addition to financial support, the selected organizations will receive expert guidance and mentoring support for the development and operation of the centers.

The call is open to organizations from all parts of Serbia except the Belgrade, South Bačka, and Rasina districts, as these areas are already covered by partner organizations involved in the project. Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations registered in Serbia before July 15, 2022, with at least one employee and experience in implementing projects, training programs, or support initiatives for organizations and entrepreneurship development.

An online information session for interested applicants will be held on June 17, while questions regarding the call may be submitted no later than July 1. The deadline for submitting applications is July 22 at 4:00 PM CET.

Detailed information on the application requirements and supporting documentation is available on the Smart Kolektiv website.
