The Transformator 2025 program, dedicated to the sustainable transformation of small and medium enterprises and civil society organizations, has successfully launched its second edition in Serbia. So far, two online sessions and a two-day bootcamp have been held, all focused on advancing business operations in line with the principles of sustainability, contemporary trends, legislation, and current market dynamics.
During the opening online session, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other, learn more about the program, and share their experiences. From the very beginning, a space was created for the exchange of ideas, and opportunities for future collaboration were identified.
The first two-day bootcamp was held at the Tangram Academy with the support of the Delta Foundation. Over the course of two days, participants explored various aspects of business sustainability through workshops, lectures, and practical exercises. Special focus was placed on specific challenges and solutions, such as the use of biodegradable alternatives for food packaging, rainwater collection and utilization in business operations, extending the lifespan of textile products, and workplace inclusion. In addition to expert guidance, participants had a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and open space for new partnerships. The bootcamp was opened by Neven Marinović, Director of Smart Kolektiv, and Miruna Vișinoiu from Social Innovation Solutions Romania, who delivered inspiring messages and encouragement to the participants on their path to sustainable transformation.
The second online session, held on September 29, focused on the legal framework and regulations in Serbia and the European Union—one of the key topics for sustainable business. The discussion provided participants with practical guidelines and answers to questions essential for planning and further developing sustainable business models.
All program activities so far have been carried out under the expert guidance of Milica Mišković and Svetlana Damnjanović from the ESG Knowledge Hub, who provide participants with valuable knowledge and tools necessary for sustainable business transformation.
Transformator continues with its activities throughout October, with three more online sessions scheduled, while the final bootcamp is planned for November 4–5. In October, the best ideas contributing to improved sustainability will be announced, and the most successful participants will join the final event in Bucharest (November 17-18), alongside winners from other countries where the program is being implemented.
The program is currently being run in five countries: Romania (where it is taking place for the fifth time), Croatia, Bulgaria, and Serbia (for the second time), while Slovenia is hosting its first edition this year. Transformator was launched in 2021 by Social Innovation Solutions (SIS) with the support of the Coca-Cola Foundation, while the national partner for Serbia is Smart Kolektiv.
