Climate Change Summit, the largest event dedicated to climate change solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, taking place from October 15-17 in Bucharest and other cities across the country, supports and rewards innovative IDEAS and SOLUTIONS that address environmental challenges in Central and Eastern Europe.
The competition, called CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMIT AWARDS, is aimed at young people under 30 and small and medium-sized enterprises from Romania and the region (CEE). It will offer total prizes worth 12,000 euros for the best initiatives in the categories of energy, mobility and construction, circular economy, food and agriculture, biodiversity, environmental education, and the CEE Award.
Young participants can submit environmental projects in the concept phase and they will have the chance to receive development grants, as well as valuable exposure on the summit stage on October 15 at the National Opera in Bucharest. Winners will have the opportunity to present their ideas and attract support from the attending audience, who can contribute money or resources to their preferred projects.
The competition jury includes local and international experts and submissions are open until September 15 on climatechange-summit.org/ccs-awards.
