Belgrade, November 2021 – Through a series of webinars of an educational character within the “Business SDG week” organized by the Responsible Business Forum and Smart Kolectiv from November 22 to 26 in the afternoon, some of the current topics related to sustainable business and the contribution of the business sector to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda will be presented. Through short forms and interesting formats, we will talk about the importance of financing sustainable development, solving the issue of food waste, youth employability and education, circular economy and water resources management. Business sector projects that directly contribute to the achievement of certain sub-goals of sustainable development and are in line with the overall business strategy, will be awarded the “Sustainability Champions” awards.

The Business SDG Week is organized by Responsible Business Forum Serbia and Smart Kolektiv within “SDGs for All” Platform that has been supported by the Swiss and German Governments and is being implemented by the German organization for international cooperation – GIZ. Partners are Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac, Foundation Center for Democracy, Belgrade Open School and Foundation BFPE for responsible society. Technical support to the project by the Smart Kolektiv is aimed at strengthening the capacity of companies and harmonizing their business practices with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The project “Sustainable Development for All” implies the establishment of a platform for public dialogue on aligning Serbia’s development priorities with the goals sustainable development among the most important non-state actors in Serbia, such as civil society, corporate sector, academic and research community, professional associations, media and citizens.
