The conference was established in 2014, as a part of Smart Kolektiv’s wider efforts to promote social entrepreneurship as a tool for social and economic change. So far, it has been visited by more than 800 leaders from the civil, private and public sector, featuring over 150 speakers from 16 countries.
Slowly leaving the pandemic behind us, we want to look ahead and translate the ideas and energy of social enterprises, investors and state initiatives into bigger impact and further growth of the local and regional ecosystem for social enterprises. This year’s Social Innovations Forum will serve as a platform to discuss the European Action Plan for Social Economy, European Green Deal and the Law for Social Entrepreneurship that has recently been adopted in Serbia and their meaning for regional actors and especially social enterprises.
Social Innovations Forum 2022 is organized by Smart Kolektiv with the support of the US Embassy, the Open Society Foundation, the Balkan Trust for Democracy of the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade. Friends of the conference are Erste Bank Sparkasse, Elixir Foundation and Coca-Cola HBC Serbia. The conference is also supported by our partners Euclid Network, Erste Bank Serbia and Atlantic Group.
