Belgrade, September 2020 – Alongside other five local structures from Western Balkans region, Smart Kolektiv is selected for the implementation of RISE project – supporting program for fostering reconciliation among youth in region of Western Balkans through strengthening social entrepreneurship initiatives. The call for applications for youth teams interested in social entrepreneurship is open until 27th September 2020. This program is conducted by RYCO, GROUPE SOS Pulse, the South East European Youth Network (SEEYN), the Institut Français and the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO/OFAJ).
The key goals of the project are promotion, education and networking of young social entrepreneurs in the Western Balkans.
In the next two years, Smart Kolektiv will work, alongside other partners on strengthening the capacities of regional social entrepreneurship ecosystem, especially regarding young entrepreneurs. Also, the project will focus on raising awareness of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial initiative for people aged 15 to 30 in the Western Balkans. The supporting program will assist the development of a total of 72 early stage impacting projects developed by young entrepreneurs, so they can be more sustainable and profitable.
Mission and vision of this program is entirely compatible with Smart Kolektiv strategic goal which is education and empowerment of young entrepreneurs willing to solve problems in their communities in innovative and sustainable way.
