Belgrade, September 28, 2021 – At the end of September the new edition of the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) has been kicked off. We are super excited that Smart Kolektiv together with the Coalition for Solidarity Economy Development (CoSED) are implementing the monitor in Serbia.
Last year the survey results directly influenced national trends as well as the EU Action Plan for Social Economy by the European Commission for the next years to come. That is why over the course of the next months, we will promote the monitor in order to encourage as many responses from social enterprises from Serbia as possible. We are looking forward to work on the first Serbian monitor which is a great opportunity for all social enterprises in the country.
The European Social Entrepreneurship Monitor (ESEM) is an initiative by Euclid Network – the European Network of Social Enterprise Support Organisations in collaboration with close to 40 social enterprise support organisation members, partners and universities, supported by the European Commission, Google.org, SAP, ImpactCity, Bertelsmann Stiftung, the World Economic Forum and Schwab Foundation. The goal of ESEM is to cooperate internationally to close the current social enterprise data gap and inform policymakers, investors and social enterprise support organisations on the needs and barriers that social entrepreneurs face nationally and internationally.
Smart Kolektiv is an active and proud member of the Euclid Network through which Smart Kolektiv connects and partners with other national networks and SEs throughout Europe.
